Strategic Regeneration, Financial and Delivery Advice

Working with Council Officers to secure a Towns Fund bid, progress the wider regeneration ambitions for the town centre, improve connections with the beach and regenerate a listed Victorian shopping arcade.

The role was to lead an interim team that accelerated delivery and provided additional capacity for the Council to meet its targets, in preparation for a dedicated delivery vehicle to be established to cover Boscombe and other key projects in the BCP area.

The project also sought to better connect with the surrounding towns through improved rail connections. Initial exploration was undertaken to consider the reopening of the former station in Boscombe and better connect to the neighbouring Premiership football ground.
